I ran change, training, and communications for TE’s Salesforce rollout: 3,000 sellers, 32 countries, two years
The short version
I was brought in on a one-month contract to build a single Salesforce course. I stayed two years and ended up owning the full enablement program for the Sales Cloud rollout across the Auto and ICT business units: strategy, content, communications, governance, and measurement.
What I owned
- The enablement platform. Designed and built C2S Central, a SharePoint hub organized by process and by role for five personas. TE still uses it.
- All of the content. 200+ training assets across five process areas: multilingual eLearning, video series, and quick reference guides.
- Communications. The plan and messaging for 15,000+ employees, reaching 88% engagement.
- Governance. Stood up the bi-weekly core team and quarterly steering committee reviews that ran the change effort.
- Measurement. Adoption surveys that collected 400+ user insights, with 200+ turned into platform and training improvements.
- Pilot and launch readiness. Ran pilot testing, and when it exposed gaps the developers wanted a month to fix, I made the call to launch on the original date in phases.
- Some of the build itself. Coded Salesforce features the dev team had deferred, then wrote the training on them the same week.
- AI enablement. Built the in-tool training for TELme, TE’s internal AI agent: prompting, pulling internal data, and checking for hallucinations.
Results & Impact
Satisfaction went from 35% to 91%, completion hit 92%, and the program became the base for TE’s next round of AI and automation work.
